The title is still Raikkonen

McLaren appealed the stewards' decision on Williams and BMW fuel
Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen was confirmed on Sunday as Formula One champion after the stewards of the Brazilian Grand Prix absolve a BMW Sauber and Williams for alleged irregularities in the use of fuel in the absence of intention to appeal the decision by McLaren.
Nico Rosberg of Williams, had finished fourth in the race, Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld - BMW Sauber both - behind him, but their results were questioned because of doubts about the fuel they had used and temperature.
Had they been disqualified, McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton have been promoted to fourth place, which would have given the world title 22 years old British rookie. Beat Raikkonen by just one point to Hamilton and his McLaren teammate Fernando Alonso by winning at Interlagos. Alonso finished third and Hamilton seventh.
fuel samples taken from the cars of both teams during their pit stops in Sunday's race showed temperature degrees outside the permitted variation.
Article 6.5.5 of technical regulations for Formula One says: " No fuel used in a car can be more than ten degrees centigrade below ambient temperature ."
The FIA \u200b\u200btechnical delegate Jo Bauer said all fuel samples of the four cars showed temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees below ambient temperature.
The stewards said in a statement issued about 6 hours after the end of the race, there was sufficient doubt about the fuel temperatures "as to be considered inappropriate to impose a penalty."
However, after long deliberations at Interlagos race stewards chose not to penalize the teams, confirming the results of the Grand Prix race in Brazil and given official status.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, a spokeswoman for the International Automobile Federation said McLaren had announced its intention to appeal the decision.
not the first time that uncertainty takes over the F1 competition in Brazil. In 2003, Raikkonen was declared the winner, but a few days after that decision was reviewed and was appointed in his place Italian Giancarlo Fisichella.
also was controversy in 1995 when Benetton and Williams ran out of points earned for using fuel that was normal but did not meet with the samples approved by the authority of the category. The pilots of the team involved kept their points.

2007 The soap opera's title is still alive, need to see the final decision.
