GP - Pole Position - China GP

Hamilton is determined to be crowned champion in Shanghai and get his sixth pole.
L ewis Hamilton has won the pole for China Grand Prix, the sixth to get this season, with a time of 1:35.908 s.
In the absence of the last attempted lap, the Briton was third behind the Ferraris of Raikkonen and Massa, but the championship leader has completed an excellent lap and will start from the top of the grill.
Kimi Raikkonen had been fastest in all sessions held this weekend, including two first round of qualifying, but has finally been overtaken by Hamilton. The Ferrari driver will have to settle for sharing the front row of the grid with the British after being a tenth of a second slower.
Felipe Massa will start third, just ahead of Fernando Alonso, who has been away from the pole after being shot at a good level in the free.
Behind the four favorites, David Coulthard has completed his best qualifying session in a long time and has placed his Red Bull Renault in fifth place, while teammate Mark Webber has also managed a solid seventh place
Ralf Schumacher has been another positive surprise of the day, as the German has made a promising sixth fastest time in which it has been his penultimate qualifying session at the wheel of Toyota, and perhaps also in F1.
BMW Sauber duo Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica will start from the eighth and ninth respectively in a weekend that is still difficult for the team based in Switzerland.
Jenson Button has qualified for the third round of qualifying after a very good lap and it seemed that he and his team were happy with it, as it gave the whole feel of shooting with a heavy fuel load and tires, probably already thinking about tomorrow's race. The eight-tenths of a second away from Kubica have us think that Button was already preparing a possible Grand Prix rather than boiled.
Tonio Liuzzi and Sebastian Vettel has easily passed the first qualifying session and come in 11 th and 12 th position for the team Toro Rosso Ferrari ahead of the second Toyota of Jarno Trulli, who today could not match the pace of his teammate Ralf Schumacher.
